I graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor's of Science in Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising with a minor in Communications at Central Washington University. I have known for as long as I can remember that I wanted to pursue fashion. The hard task was choosing where. I chose Central after meeting with the program director, hearing about the curriculum, and visiting the homey campus. All of my major classes are very applicable to the industry and I feel as though I was given a well-rounded education of the industry. I decided to minor in communications because of my love for social media. My communications classes taught me how to network and connect with people in the industry, as well as carry myself professionally online and in person. The following are classes I took for my major:
